My Vision
The National Association of Tangent Clubs is one of the UK's most significant women’s friendship and fundraising organisations; we are part of the Round Table Family of Associations.
As President, I have chosen to support and raise vital funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Now.
Why? At the age of 46, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, and I wanted to give back to an organisation which had given me the support I required.
Their vision is that by 2050, everyone diagnosed with breast cancer will live -and be supported to live well. But to make it happen, we need to act now.
Breast Cancer is the most common cancer in the world. Over 55,000 people are diagnosed every year in the UK alone. Each one will face challenging treatment regimes. Grueling side effects. Uncertainty, anxiety and fear.
